Wasson-ECE’s Canister ‘Tree’ is an Autosampler custom designed with 16 shelves that are able to provide automated sampling from a variety of canisters, cylinders and/or Tedlar bags. The system is designed for both ambient and pressurized gas samples; it also includes an option to utilize an external vacuum pump for environmental sampling to minimize sample contamination from residual air.

Wasson-ECE’s Canister tree offers a practical and economical solution to a busy lab’s need to sample from many canisters that can take up significant space on a benchtop. The vertical design allows for floor placement and the wheels allow easy mobility for storage elsewhere.

This custom-engineered Auto-sampler offers versatility and can accommodate a combination of up to 16 canisters (Entech or Silcocan), cylinders, and/or Tedlar bags, saving your lab from having to purchase, store and use multiple devices.

Reproducibility

Operator variance when sampling from canisters into a GC reduces reproducibility. This laboratory device eliminates this variance and increase reproducibility.

Quick Turnaround - Tedlar Bags

Samples should be analyzed as soon as possible after collection to mitigate any losses due to permeation. Depending on the analytes of interest and method compliance, this timeframe is generally between 24 and 72 hours. Lack of available manpower can delay analysis.

In addition to the internal diaphragm pump, an optional external vacuum pump is available for environmental sampling to provide additional purging of the lines to minimize sample contamination from residual air.

Lines and fittings are specially passivated to avoid potential issues with reactive components.
